Johnathan Lee Iverson
The iconic ringmaster of the world-renowned Circus Vargas, Johnathan began his career singing in the celebrated Boys Choir of Harlem along the likes of Quincy Jones, Lena Horne, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett — as well as Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti. His powerful voice and towering presence have graced the productions of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus for a great many years, until its closure as a traditional circus in 2017 — as well as of Dallas' own Lone Star Circus!
Johnathan was one of Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People," and twice the subject of questions on the ABC Television quiz show "Jeopardy." He is also Chairman of the Board of "Omnium – A Bold New Circus."
